Voces y Lugares is an initiative between the Chicago Public Schools, through Von Steuben High School's distance learning facility, and the e-poets network. The project placed Hispanic authors from Chicago before students in several high schools. It used new media, such as videoconferencing and the web, to assist and enhance cultural representation, language studies, and comprehension.
