Aeronwy Thomas is a noted writer, teacher and performer in her own right, though she is also known as the second child of Dylan Thomas and his wife Caitlin. Aeronwy is recognized globally as an ambassador for her father's work, and is President of the Dylan Thomas Society, Swansea, Wales.

Her own poetry and prose have been published widely, spanning thirty years of literary activity. Aeronwy Thomas' publications include Later than Laugharne, Christmas and Other Memories, Poems and Memories, and Rooks and Poems, and she is also recognized for her translations of Italian poetry. Her latest Italian/English translation publication is I Colori Delle Parole, released in both Italian and English. It included paintings by Italian artist Gianpiero Actis.

Anthologies include Poems by Dylan Thomas selected by Aeronwy Thomas, Jewels and Binoculars (about Bob Dylan), Nightride and Sunrise, and Red Tomatoes. A new book is scheduled for release later in 2008, Burning Bridges, published by Cross-Cultural Communications. She holds several posts in the literary world, including President of the Allians of Literary Societies.
