Known best for his live and studio work with Jann Arden, Russell Broom has begun making a name for himself as a songwriter and producer.

Working with Arden on her latest Gold selling release "Blood Red Cherry", Broom co-wrote 12 of the album's 14 cuts, including the first two singles "Sleepless" and "Into the Sun", and received credits for production, guitar, bass, keyboards, and drum programming. He also remixed these singles for radio, and both have been steadily charting since release. In May, Jann Arden released a single of "Stand By Me" to benefit the North York General Hospital, on which Broom produced and played various instruments, and has been in the top 50 singles sales charts since it's release.
