Benicia BlueBenicia Blue is a native of south-side Chicago and was one of the founders of Verbatim, a performance poetry organization based in Columbia College Chicago. She is a 2011 Louder Than a Bomb College Indy Semi-finalist. Her work has appeared in Columbia Poetry Review, The Journal of Pan African Studies, Harambee, Girlspeak Webzine, and Madlicks Zine.
